All Types of Forklifts
Yes it is. The training covers all the knowledge requirements of 29 CFR 1910.178 - Powered Industrial Trucks. However - employees can only be certified to operate a vehicle by the employer. This training class covers the required subjects, and provides the forms you need for a final forklift operator certification.
The employer is required to evaluate all operators and verify their ability to operate powered industrial trucks. Even if you attended a hands on training class, the employer still must evaluate you at their facility.
Included in this class is the documentation required to perform the hands-on training and evaluation.
