A large scaffolding system collapsed in Houston, injuring six workers. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported. There is no indication yet as to why the scaffolding collapsed, but  inadequate design is likely to be a factor.

OSHA requires that large and complex scaffolding be designed by a registered professional engineer. Remember to protect yourself and your employees by making sure your scaffolding is properly designed and regularly inspected.

Update 10/19/2015: A local news affiliate has video of the actual collapse.  There is still no official cause, but some witnesses have said they saw a car hit one of the scaffolding supports.

That large of a collapse, I bet a support was struck by a construction vehicle.
